generic cialis

When you have your big event the next day (a presentation, party or even a hot date) and an unwanted pimple pops up, the best thing to do is look for a quick fix.

Though acne cure does not have any quick fix, but sometimes it’s ok to opt for a temporary solution. There are various ways to find an acne quick-fix, but the point to remember is what works for one person may not necessarily work for another. This is because all skin types are different and hence the skin reacts differently.

With that being said, I have heard a lot of buzz about using toothpaste on the pimple -the so called pimples toothpaste remedy.

Does applying toothpaste to the zit really work?

The truth is pimples toothpaste remedy has  worked on quite a few acne sufferers. The toothpaste will dry out the pimple and reduce its shine, so it’s not a shiny, throbbing pimple anymore. So it can be called a temporary acne cure in one way.

But some acne sufferers have reported skin irritations and burning sensations due to use of toothpaste. So the use of pimples toothpaste remedy as an acne cure is still debatable.

But if you do decide to try out this method, there are a few points to remember:

  • Application: On the problem area just apply a little white paste to cover it. Keep it on for around 10 minute and wash it off it warm water. It may be a little hard to wash, but it would come off by using the face wash.
  • Do not apply too much. Just apply a little on the problem area.
  • If you are applying for the first time put it on for around 10 minutes, if it causes too much irritation, rinse it off.
  •  Use white toothpaste, not the gel (the white Aquafresh is preferred)
  •  Avoid it if you have an open bleeding pimple.

  •  It’s best to avoid using this method if you have very sensitive skin.

The truth is the pimples toothpsate  method has worked for some and not worked for others.

As with applying anything on your face it’s a good idea to test it out first by applying a little and seeing the results. If it works fine, you can continue with the method.

Do let us know about your experiences of using the pimples toothpaste method(if you ever have),by posting in the comments.
