I have been an acne sufferer since the age of 13.For the last 20 years,I have been fighting these “unwanted visitors” on my skin.Reaching an acne cure appropriate for my skin has been a very long struggle for me.
When I got acne during my teen age I did not take it seriously.I thought it was a normal process of growing up and they will disappear either by themselves or if I squeeze them out.I sure did not have enough information about acne or acne cure during that time, because the only way you can stop acne is by not touching it.
But as my acne got worse,I consulted numerous dermatologists and took various medications/treatments for acne cure. Each time I was filled with anticipation and hope of clearing my skin.I spent a lot of money on different products which offered different promises, but nothing really worked. My acne was still there, people were still commenting on the red spot that kept popping on my nose and I still felt envious of people with a clear skin, unlike me.
Today I can see the reason why nothing worked on me.Each time when I took the medications,I would take them for 1-2 weeks and when I did not see any results,I would stop them.My acne developed resistance to almost all the medications and hence sometimes after some treatment it would worsen.
Information makes all the difference.I am realizing all the mistakes I made in my early years of acne cure due to lack of information.Today, thanks to the Internet, information is just a click away.
As an acne sufferer myself,my advise to you is to take advantage of the information you can get on the internet.Understand your condition and seek the treatment for your acne cure accordingly.Be patient with your acne, its a battle, you will win only if you fight it with the right weapons.
In this blog I will review various acne and skin care related products and give you an honest opinion on them.I will also discuss the different acne options available to treat acne.
I will also be posting various articles on tips to for an acne free skin,so watch out for the upcoming posts.
